Sharing your mobile device's screen can be useful in various situations, such as giving a presentation or demonstrating how to use a mobile app. If you have an Apple device and a Mac, you can use Quicktime to share your device's screen on your Mac. Here's how you can do it:
Connect your Apple device (iPhone or iPad) to your Mac using your Lightning to USB cable.
Open QuickTime on your Mac. If you can't find it, you can use Spotlight to search for it.
Once QuickTime is open, click on "File" in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click on "New Movie Recording." A new window will appear.
In the new window, click on the small arrow next to the record button. A drop-down menu will appear.
In the drop-down menu, select your Apple device as the camera and microphone source. You should see your device's screen on the QuickTime window.
You can now share your Mac screen (or the QuickTime window showing your mobile device's screen) with others using your preferred video conferencing software.
It's worth noting that QuickTime may not work with some older Apple devices or operating systems. Additionally, there are other screen sharing software options available for Apple devices, such as Reflector and AirServer, which offer additional features like recording and mirroring multiple devices at once.
